cary a New Member United States 0 Posts	Posted 12/24/2019 02:49 am Hello all I'm new around here. Just found out that a 1943 Liberty Half Dollar Iv'e had for awhile now is fake. It was set in this roped pendant it looked lose so I put a pin knife in and popped out the back of the coin was blank, I mean looked like a slug. I just wonder if this kind of thing has happened to anyone else? Report this Post to the Staff

thedollarman Pillar of the Community Canada 4911 Posts	Posted 12/24/2019 03:09 am That doesn't necessarily mean the coin is fake..it's a low value coin so it's quite possible that it was sanded down to properly fit in the piece of jewelry. Feel free to call me Will. Report this Post to the Staff
