Happy Holidays coin community. Hope all enjoying the holiday season with family and friends.
So I came across VG 1984 Lincoln Penny that caught my eye. There is an extra letter "o" floating on the obverse side of this penny.

Plating issue,zinc rot bubble maybe.

I agree most likely a plating blister, but could also be a drop of dried glue. Either way, it isn't a dropped letter or other mint error.

Or a puncture of the plating and the zinc is getting some air?
