Good to hear from you and good luck with school. The hunt will still be there when you are done!

I went through a lot of the boxes of cents I had sitting around (probably $75-$100 worth); I still have 2-3 more boxes to search, plus what I can pick up this week. The best find was a worn down 1918 Wheat cent. I also found some dimes mixed in with some of the cent rolls. These were all Brinks rolls. My bank mainly uses Brinks I suspect, but I did get a random Loomis box of cents a few months ago. I also found some Canadian pennies, some common date wheat cents, and some 2009's. I plan on sorting them by year and mintmark hopefully. Take care.

I just wanted to update this thread with my most recent best finds; I found a dateless Buffalo nickel and a Wheat cent ender recently.

I got a $50 bag of cents off the bank's coin counting machine for the first time ever today; I am so excited and thankful.

I opened the bag of cents, a lot of 1959 and 1960 cents; so far, the oldest cent is a 1928 Wheat cent. I still have a lot more to go through. I just wanted to provide an update.

I think that a lot of the 1960's are small dates, there are a few large dates, but most look like small dates. Also there is a mix of Denver and no mintmarks.

I just dumped yesterday $466 in cents at my bank, to make room in my bedroom for Christmas. We were going to drive around to dump at different banks, but my bank said it was okay to dump them all there. They even offered us a dolly to carry the coins in. It was really tough emotionally to dump all of these coins, as I have been hoarding these coins for years. My mom said she was proud of me for being able to do that, even though it was emotionally tough.

It was a good Christmas; I got all sorts of coins, and I am still working on searching all of the coins for older coins.
