Hopefully the coin dump made room for new journeys, new finds and new stories. Sometimes it's good to start from scratch and rebuild. Good luck this New Year and wish you all the luck!

Thank you very much makecents; I picked up another $70 in cents, and a lot of nickels (probably almost $100 worth, they were loose rolls though). While I was there, I saw a lady dumping like 10 or 11 salvation army buckets full of coins. I can only imagine the treasures in those buckets. I wish I could have bought those coins somehow. I also have a bag of quarters in my room that I need to search, my parents had bought it off of the bank's coin counter for me for Christmas. My birthday is in a few days also (January 9), so I will probably have even more coins to search also. Like you said, hopefully I will have some great finds, and I can share the stories with all of you of my finds. I got a few rolls of cents at the store yesterday, and there is a Canadian penny at the end, so that is the first find. I must clear some space, so I have room to search the coins. I hope that everyone reading this has a great New Year.

My goal for coin roll hunting right now is to search all of these cents (I just got more for my birthday that was on January 9), and to fill State Quarter folders. I had a good birthday. I will post if I find anything cool.

I also might be job shadowing at a bank; my job coach is trying to find a bank that will let me job shadow, to see how the job works. I am very excited for this.

Very glad you had a good birthday! Hope the job shadowing works out and you get an in, where better to work! If this happens, dot your i's and cross your t's, when it comes to taking out possible coins to search, let someone else handle the transaction. Nice ender!

It sounds like I landed a job shadowing position at a small bank in Waukesha, WI. My job coach will be there with me; he said he just has to email the bank to confirm. I am so excited for this opportunity. Also thank you makecents for the advice.

The bank tour was awesome; I got a lot of insight into how banking works. I would love to go on another bank tour. Also I searched $70 in halves, no silver, so I went back to the bank and dumped those halves and some quarters and got $80 more in halves. I will update once I search them. I am hoping for some silver.
