Quote: I got these from my friend at the gas station. Someone used them to pay for something, and he saved them for me. They are amazing coins! Fantastic!

Great finds on the 40% silver! That's cool you have the bank teller and your friend at the gas station watching out for you too. Those 90% halves are nice!

I just picked up some loose Eisenhower dollars at the bank (I think $20 worth); I also got a box of nickels, two boxes of pennies, and a $50 strap of $1 bills. I am excited to look through them.

I have been stacking many boxes of coins for a while now. I have at least $300 in cents and $200 in nickels to search through. I also have a lot of loose coins that need to be sorted/go back to the bank. That is what I have been working on recently. Also I now have a girlfriend, and I have been giving her quarters with horses on them, because she loves horses. I also have been letting her pick out some cool coins that she likes. I also have been very busy with school recently. Hopefully I will search some coins soon to post on here. I hope that everyone is doing well, take care everyone.

Very cool on the stacks, you have a lot to search now! Those girlfriends will pull you away from coins a little but that's not a bad thing, everything in balance.

I got a box of dimes from the bank yesterday, and also a box of nickels and some loose cent rolls. I have been searching some nickels recently, my most recent finds have been a silver WW2 nickel (a 1944-P), and two Buffalo nickels. I would say that it took $150 in nickels to find those three finds. I also found many pre-1960's. I also searched recently around $35 in cents, and found some wheats and 2009's. I am hoping to find an IHC or a V nickel soon hopefully. I have found V nickels and IHC's in the past. I am hoping to find some silver in the box of dimes. I just wanted to update everyone, I am doing well, and just have been busy. You all take care.

Good work.
I find it interesting that a few of us--including you--seem to have little problem obtaining boxes of coins, while others indicate that they can't seem to get any, or only a very few. All part of the Covid/post-Covid coin shortage discussion.

ijn1944, I didn't even have to order the box, they had that box and a box of nickels in the vault that they sold to me. I am very fortunate that my bank has boxes. I searched the dime box already, no silver, but I did find a foreign coin (a five pence) and an interesting looking dime. I may look through the dimes again for any obvious errors (cuds, etc). So far, I just edge searched the dimes. Maybe if I search them for errors again, hopefully I will find a Balboa Panama coin, I know that those blend in pretty well. I will keep updating as I find more coins. Take care everyone.

I opened a $50 bag of pennies that I got from my bank, and it is a collection dump! There are mint tokens, tons of wheats, and some proofs. I am still in shock. I am on the road right now, but I will post pictures when I get home later.

So far, I have almost filled a large cup with the wheat cents I have found. The oldest is a 1911 so far. I plan on sorting them by date and mint mark, and taking a photo of all of the wheats sorted. It has been so much fun to search this collection dump.
