I found a WW2 nickel, a 1999 Canadian nickel, some pre-1961's, and a 2009-D in some nickel rolls recently. Those are my recent finds.

I have been searching some cents recently, and I found some wheat cents, some 2009's, a few Canadian pennies, and a cent with a grease error. I have a lot more to search and sort.

So I have to open a second bank account, as I just got my first job, and decided to do it at a different bank so I have 2 banks for coin roll hunting instead of just the 1. I have been bank shopping, we went to an associated bank, the lady was nice, but said they charge their business customers for coin, and don't usually give coin to their regular customers. I asked if $10 a week in coins (pennies and nickels) would be okay. She seemed unsure, and her manager was on vacation, so I have doubts about that bank. My mom and I will keep searching though for another bank that will sell coins to me. At least I still have my main bank, which sells me lots of coins.

I was told, and so far it has been true, Chase Bank will sell no more than $ 100. even if not a member. But be reasonable and not pushy. I usually ask for 50. in nickels and 10. in pennies. Then some quarters.

I ended up going with a bank called Associated bank. They are so nice, on my second visit, they had saved some coins for me, including a 1976 Eisenhower dollar and some small dollar coins. I always look for Cud errors or missing edge lettering errors. I found an Oregon State Quarter with a Cud error in my mom's change jar a couple days ago. My mom listed it on ebay for me. I also in $50 nickels found a 1923 and a 1937 Buffalo nickels. I still have a lot of cents to look through.

Also when I coin roll hunt, 1942 coins are special, along with some other years (1956 for example). 1942 was my grandma Linda's (mom's mom) birth year, and we lost her in 2016. 1956 was great Uncle Ricky's (dad's uncle) birth year, he sadly died in 1989, before I was born. I always find special coins to help me cope with their losses. There are also other family members who I think about when I coin roll hunt.
