Jacob's Roll Hunting Finds

Sorry it has been awhile, I have been super busy. My mom was picking up a bag of pennies for me, and she saw two guys carrying out boxes of half dollars from the bank. I guess I am not the only coin roll hunter at that bank. I accidently found the pennies early, before my mom wrapped them, she left them in the car, and I accidently saw them. I have no clue if the boxes were yellow Loomis boxes or black Brinks boxes. My bank uses both companies I have noticed. I will ask my mom if she knows or not about the color of the boxes. I hope that everyone has a Merry Christmas.

I got a lot of coins for Christmas and my birthday (was on January 9). I wonder if Brinks is pulling silver dimes, I searched three Brinks boxes ($750) and so far no silver. I do have four rolls left to search, but no foreign coins or silver yet. It is really odd, I used to find silver dimes often. I also searched a $500 Loomis quarter box, and no silver or W's. It is really discouraging to me not to find anything in over $1,000 in coin. I did pull out some clad dimes that have toning or look sort of cool, just so I have something to keep. I know that the first nickel box had three silver WW2 nickels, so that was good, and I still find wheat cents. The nickel box was Loomis, and I also have a second Loomis nickel box to still search also. I hope that everyone is doing well, take care everyone.

I am going to the bank today, I may get more dimes to try and hopefully find silver. I also want to get more cents and nickels though also.

Fun finds!

I got $50 (5 rolls) of halves, and got a 1967 40% silver half dollar! I got them from my usual bank that I use. I was really surprised. I will try to update more as I find more cool coins.
