Tanman2001 Pillar of the Community United States 4408 Posts	Posted 01/01/2020 12:00 pm Dies are conical (cone shaped) so if a die isn't fully squeezed, it would result in an incomplete design with the detail at the center only being visible. Mint employees likely began making this die with it offset to the south, realized the offset before it made a complete hubbing, then restarted with the alignment corrected.
