My last 1930 coin Another worn 6d coin of the UK   Typical of coins that circulated for many years and like NumisRob said many of these coins circulated well after 1947 when they became copper nickel. The design on these 1927/36 Sixpences was not vastly different to that on the 1953/67 sixpences and thus could be easily confused. This coins is barely VG and about as worn as they get, but as you will see, once we get further back into the 20s you will see coins worn below Good grade.
