Nice rider @eligius,

1662 Poland-Lithuania Commonwealth, 6 groschen (szostak), Lwow mint (today Lviv, Ukraine).
Like many European principalities, Poland's borders changed many times over the centuries. This part of today's Ukraine came under Polish rule in the mid 1300s, and remained a part of the Poland-Lithuanian Commonwealth until the partitions of the late 18th century. Coins were minted there intermittently under various Polish rulers from the 1300s.

I love that Crown NumisRob

1662 was the first year of regular milled coinage in the UK, before that its all hammered coins except a brief series of milled ones in 1631 (Nicolas Briot's coinage) and 1561 (Eloi Mestrel for Elizabeth I). I have just one more coin to show in a few years and that's me done in this edition.

That one may be a 1663. Neither NGC nor Numista show 1662 as a date for this type and that punctuation 1.6.6.? is typical of 1663: https://en.numista.com/catalogue/pieces119296.html

Hmm thx that is good to know @tdz. I'll have to take look at my Kopicki. On the 2x2, I originally had 1663, but have subsequently changed it to 1662.

Added: Hopefully, I've got the correct year for posting this Swedish-Occupied Livonian Solidus today...
