Been looking for a dated 15th century coin for a while now. MA Shops has a bunch of Crimean Khanate "892" coins, but I can't legibly read 892 on any of them. @Grinya?

It is too early for the 7th edition! I bought it specially for CCF and this thread. The conditions are quite bad and the year is almost off-flan (the good thing regarding this that it was quite cheap), but this is 892 AH Aqche of Mengli bin Hajji Giray, mint Qirq-Yer, Khanate of Crimea   Will put it back on sale/swap:)) Edited by Grinya

Glad to hear that others can continue to pitch in as 1486 AD is also a hole for me. After this, I've got a pretty good run though.

Looking forward to continuing this thread, and to the 7th edition! As far as I can tell, at the moment, the next known gaps are 1460 (where the 5th edition is stuck), 1453, 1452 (pending possible ID of my coin), 1435, and 1432, after which it seems to be mostly gaps until around the 1390s (where Islamic coins pick up). |

I really think we should rush edition 7, I mean when 6th edition started, my whole collection was about 1/5 the size it is now. I could pretty much have mountains of shining silver back to 1816 for a start.
