The new pictures definitely confirm the date. Looking forward to 1410, and hoping that augustus1 gets here to post their 1411...
What happened to Spence? According to jbuck on the other thread, they're going to be offline for a while, but I couldn't find anything definite and their most recent posts don't mention any expected absences.

I am hoping the 1410 arrives in the next week or so, and perhaps someone else now has one and can contribute. I also have my eye on coins for 1404, 02, 01 and 00, but I can't yet find an affordable 1406. I think I will grab the available ones anyway to save on postage....I just need approval first from the Director of Domestic Affairs. The 1411 has already been played by Spence (twice) and tdziemia on Feb 25 and 26. It all got out of sync because I jumped the gun posting the seller pics of my 1412. Lesson learnt. I'm in the dark regarding Spence as well. I guess we will learn in the fullness of time. Late edit: I had a rush of blood. Found a 1406 in the US, and just ordered the others from IndianCoins. ( make a decision, beg forgiveness later ) Waiting on the mail now......don't hold your breath.

Spence is a mod. We have staff meetings. Long to the short, he is busy until the end of the month, but may pop in before then.

Yes - but 1411 posts are still eligible at least until 1410 shows up, and with some luck we could yet see @augustus1 posting theirs. They were active a few months back but not more recently AFAICT. Looking forward to seeing all those 1400s coins eventually! Maybe we could yet get this edition into the 14th century before the Seventh Edition catches up. (I'm hoping that the Seventh Edition does eventually catch up, but at this rate it could be a while yet, especially as we'd be getting into the more sporadic regions.) AFAICT the earliest 14th century date we have is apparently 1311 (there's an earlier AH date that doesn't convert well), so I could try to do a nice round 1410-1311 or 1410-1310 gap listing. I suspect that I'll be missing quite a few dates in bd251's and (especially) ttkoo's collections, though! (I'll probably italicize JohnConduitt's entries since AFAIK they hadn't been responding in a while. Somewhat of a shame as those coins would have been really useful if we ever made it to the 1360s.)

Yes to all of the ? coins from me to come. 1410 within 2 weeks 1406 late April from US 1404, 1402, 1401, 1400 3-to 4 weeks hopefully. I'll check all of your other dates tomorrow when I can get in front of my computer. I feel I have some of the 1320's and 1310's in my group of Delhi Sultans. However, it still represents a big shopping list!!

@j1m
I have coins for AH767, AH724, AH716.
EDIT: Add AH719, 718, 722
For your record I will PM a full list of dated / datable coins tomorrow. I don't have any from 1380's or 1390's ATM and I'll let my budget recover first before I chip away at that "none found" list. All good fun though!

Quote: However, it still represents a big shopping list!! You don't have to focus on all of the 14th century just by yourself it's a worthy goal but a lofty one. (Though AFAIK the coins do get a lot cheaper in some ranges.) TIL that the Sultanate of Delhi went through quite a turnover of rulers in the 1380s and (especially) 1390s. I'm not sure how good your coverage is for that period, but I imagine that as you're progressing there you'd get more and more coins in this tricky area!

Thanks for the updated list! According to my Numista collection, I have AH 725. I think I may have one or two others in this range that I still have to either add or modify the entry in the Numista catalog. I'll have to check my physical collection for those. Edit: Apparently that other coin I was thinking of is also AH 725

@january1may Is it me or is it a slight glitch in your list of years. Seems ok until 1404 which I calculate as AH807 and you show AH806 ? from then on Just to clarify my coins (in AH years) I have coming. 1 Muharram 813 = May 14 1410 1 Muharram 809 = June 26 1406 1 Muharram 807 = July 17 1404 1 Muharram 805 = August 9 1402 1 Muharram 804 = August 19 1401 1 Muharram 803 = August 30 1400 1 Muharram 801* = September 19 1398 1 Muharram 800* = September 30 1397 1 Muharram 799* = October 11 1396 * = ordered today
I get that the years end up weird, like at 758 / 759 and 790 / 791, but where do we draw the line deciding which month of an AD year should decide the AH year? (if that makes sense)
