nohope587 Pillar of the Community United States 5953 Posts	Posted 10/12/2008 07:51 am Here be a small date high 7 variety. note the tops of the numbers are level with each other. also check the 9 out as the gap should be smaller than normal. Also, the Class III DDO you are thinking about, to my knowledge has only been seen on Proof coins and not on circulation strikes. Thanks, Bill Report this Post to the Staff

I cherried my example of the 1970S proof small/large date at a small local show in September 2006 in Tulsa, OK for a buck. It was in a PVC flip and had some haze, which I promptly removed. The coin is now happily resting in an archival flip in my collection. Its grade is PR66RD and I would venture a $125 value. Your coin, however, is just a machine doubled large date cent.
