There are certain die markers for the 1964 SMS Lincoln Cent. You pics are too blurry to see anything. Have you been able to find the die markers?

Anyone mind explaining how you can identify an SMS? I'm familiar with the history, but not how to differentiate them...

It looks to be the real deal, has the clear 17 steps and brown spots behind Lincoln's head and above the BE in Liberty. I am sending it off for grading.

Also, does anyone have any information on a 1941 S proof like penny? I have what looks to be one, it is a rose glossy color. I will try to post pics later.

Thanks, Sam

Do not send your coin in. Just google 1964 Lincoln Cent sms. There will be all kinds of links for you to view. If after you've found the correct die markers, then send it in. You don't want to spend money on a coin you're guessing at.

Hi memelogs, welcome to the forum. Please start a new thread for your coin as opposed to piggybacking off of another unrelated one. Also, when you start your new thread, please let us know what kind of help you're wanting in regard to your coin. Otherwise, we're just looking at a picture.
