So for the last month or so I have been going through my bag of world coins, I have Id'd most of the 550 coins in the bag Except 3 of them. Here is the first one;

@sagegirl, I recognize that you have identified all of your coins now (including these three thanks to @pep and other smart folk here on CCF). However, if you buy another bag of coins to identify, might I suggest that you try out the free app "coinoscope"? I don't have any financial interest in whatever company has created it, but find this app quite helpful, especially for identifying foreign coins of the 1900s.

It looks to be a 1936 Ethiopian 1 Santeem. Note: the coin was struck in multiple years but the "1936" date remained constant.

Thanks everyone.... Now I can get those big ol' Krause books off my kitchen table and back on the book shelf.

Those Krause catalog of world coins and just doing a basic coin search helped a lot.

@ Spence, I don't think I'll be buying anymore foreign coins for a while :) on top of that last bag I just did, I had another 2500+ that have been 2 x 2'd already.
