Harry - Still don't have any new pictures to post, but my little jar is holding 664 grams.....only been putting +6 or larger nuggets in in.....getting close to full now.
I had hoped I'd be able to put a full 24 ounces in it, but I think, sooner or later, I'm going to have to transfer it to a bigger jar in order to reach that goal. Of course, I'm still short around three ounces, so a bigger jar isn't something I'm going to have to worry about anytime soon.

Just a heads up.....my little jar has 679.7 grams now (a little birthday present - 1/2 ounce - to myself from myself).

ASEnut - Yes, I do save up for it. I've got a little set-aside that I try to add to every month.
I would point out that my little stash has been building since back in early 2005 (whole lot cheaper back then) - nearly ten years of adding to it when I can afford to, and I still don't have 2 pounds yet(24 oz Troy).....but I will(someday). I've set that as kind of a goal, but I didn't set any particular time for completion - nice to have a goal though.

Thanks to all those people whom have read and added to this thread over the years,it has reached over 40,000 reads with some great comment and additions and with that I thank one and all.
Sorry I haven't added to it lately as I'm still recovering or convalescing at this stage and wont be in the swing for at least another 2 years.
don't forget to swing low and slow and be safe

Bump keeps the thread moving to the top of the subject list, keeping eyes upon it, sort of like a message without a message, and it works, see I looked too!  great thread, I love gold (don't we all)? Still no recent pictures, but my little bullion jar has 692 grams (Troy) in it. Slowly creeping up on that 2 pounds (Troy) goal I've set for myself.

Harry - a Christmas gift of a quarter ounce of the +6 nuggets.....from me to me.....700 grams in my little bullion cubes jar now. Life is good.
