Could this be a Grease Filled Die error? The initials are almost non existent. Does not look worn off.

I agree most likely a little grease in the die rather than circulation wear. Not sure that this minor defect affects the value though.

I see nothing for a premium to be there. It is weak from over die polishing. Basically a die event happened to the die.

Either a Greaser or die abrasion,no added value. Also,you should not hold coins like that,hold by the edge only.
