Unidentified (Ancient?) Coin- Silver?

No clue what it is, can't find any info online. Here are my questions: What is the metal content? I'm hoping silver? What is the date range? The writing is in Arabic and with a little inspection, I can find the date in the middle bottom of the second picture. Here it is rightside facing up: The date appears to be AH 1288, which roughly corresponds to AD 1871. My money is on this coming from one of the Indian States. The legible part of the obverse looks right and the weight is right. I'm having trouble with the mint name, though. Report this Post to the Staff
