Last year I took a trip to Uganda, and during my two weeks there, I only received a single coin in change. However, at the airport on my return, I was given several 1000 shilling notes in change. These are crisp new bills, and they have a picture of the Uganda kob on the reverse, the national animal of Uganda. At today's exchange rate, they are only worth about 27 cents US each. Since I don't collect foreign banknotes, I'd like to send one to whoever wants one. A picture of the notes is below. I don't know how many people might be interested, but since I have a limited number, I would appreciate it if you only request one if you have an interest in banknotes, or Uganda, or any other reason it might fit in your collection. Just PM me your name and address, and I'll get one in the mail this week!  |

 I got my 1000 Shilling note on Saturday! I got the bill on top of the left side stack in the image. THANK YOU so much! I'm going to do some detailed study of the note in the next week or so.
