What an interesting thread! I had no idea of this until today, but I will start checking my bills a little closer.

Don't know anything about Facebook chat, I'm not on Facebook.
That must be from the new project and I'm not part of that either.
My past experience with half matches is with the original project, and we both agreed to wait and hope for making a second match and then do an even exchange.
I've heard of one other match supposedly made with someone from the list, but the original reporting party could never be reached, never responded, so that match couldn't be confirmed. I've seen some who reported notes to the project but ended up selling their notes, yet they didn't remove them from the list, so that has caused false positive matches.
As far as what would I do if the other didn't want to make a trade or sell, and it was confirmed they had the matching note, I guess I'd just ask them why they have their note on whatever list it was seen on? But there's nothing anyone can do if someone says no, I guess I would just move on and keep looking.
Sorry I don't have better advice.

Quote: I read in one of the FB forums that one of the member had a match but the other person is not interested in selling his or buying the other note. Basically he's not going to do anything.
If this happened to you, what would you do? I don't know that there's much you can do other than making an aggressive offer to the other owner and hope they take it? Or just sell it and let the new person deal with trying to convince the owner to part with it if they wish to match it up.

I would just go on with my life and not worry about it. LOL

For Informational purposes only. August 26th-28th, 2022, the Las Vegas Coin Club is hosting a coin and currency show at the Palace Station Hotel and Casino.
On Saturday the 27th, and Sunday the 28th, there will be an EXHIBIT table set up featuring a collection of 2013 B* notes, along with some matched pairs for everyone's viewing pleasure.
So if anyone happens to be in Vegas that weekend and wants to see some of these pairs and notes in person, please stop by and say hello!!
Again, this is solely for informational purposes, nothing at this exhibit table will be for sale.

Hello all, I happened to be re-reviewing these two threads, and noticed something I thought I had posted earlier, hadn't been posted. I'm sorry for the late posting. Here is the first pair ever graded by PCGS, and it's graded with Dr. Barts attribution of "Production Error - with duplicate serial numbers"

Hello all!! Well it's time for another first (As far as I know)!!! The first double matched pairs, with sequential serial numbers!! Finally PMG listed them as "Production Error", albeit they put it on the reverse . They also didn't slab them side by side as I requested, as you can see they slabbed the four notes vertically, but what can you do? Hope you all like them!! Take care!!

Just a quick update, I'll post here and on the other related thread. It looks like we will finally get to see a pair go up for Auction on Heritage. I saw on another site, (TreasureNet.com), there will be a pair in the May 3rd-5th, 2023 CSNS Currency Signature Auction, and pre-bidding will start April 14th, 2023. It looks like the graded pair came out as 40EPQ/25VF, it also appears it belongs to two people, as it's called the Kaiser, Uhler Pair. It will be nice to see a sale other than ebay, I wish them the best of luck!!
