Thank you everyone for all your help in my quest to find the strangest coins and give me strait answers.
This coin was a accident in finding, when looking for the weird W in the last Washington quarter .
I don't know if other people have seen it I don't see it in the coin book I have.
So here it is another freak I think?

@rd101, it is hard to tell, but it might be a tiny die chip hanging off of that W.

It does look like at the end it balls up like it was melted.
