I also know that some of these could sell for quite a bit and know there are collectors who exclusively collect these for the love of the artwork. It represents a period in our history and the characters that we might not have known about. I don't give any value to recent works of art, no matter how artistic. It doesn't represent anything to me and I wouldn't think of collecting them. CCs Report this Post to the Staff
kena Pillar of the Community United Kingdom 1686 Posts	Posted 10/26/2008 1:53 pm I agree that they represent a period of US history and the ones made by hand with just a knife show that the person making it had real talent. I would be concerned with no being able to tell a hand made one rather than one that is machine made. Report this Post to the Staff
