Hello I seen this anomaly in the date, in the 5, can someone tell me if this is normal or post damaged, or error possibly, thank you for your help

All I can see in this pic is a burst gas plating bubble - very common.

Looks like a contact mark on the coin. (One area is pressed in and the other areas are rising, like a wave) PSD.

Hi joshmckee81. I agree with those pros. You have to watch out for those zinc coins. Some of 1982 and there after pennies has a problem. A lot get zinc rot & other problems

Time is no friend to zinc rot. If you see any on a potential coin your were going to buy, pass. It just gets worse with time. The split becomes a void eventually.

I didn't notice this when I bought it that is had a split plating issue. Sorry I haven't looked at it lately.
