1972 D Kennedy Doubled Profile? Need Help

RW1010 Pillar of the Community United States 1207 Posts	Posted 03/21/2020 8:46 pm I need a second opinion on this one after doing some reading on coops thread. I see two light to dark areas on the profile so shouldn't this be a doubled die? I dont see many half dollars so I'm not sure what the Mechanical Doubling looks like in hand. Note the area affected is the outside edge of the devices. Note on the affected area, there is no contour.
