This thread has been dead lately. And sadly I didn't get any new IHC for my slabbed set, but my LCS had a nice 1888 IHC and I could use the upgrade for the 20th century type. Pictures don't do it justice, its very shiny (and probably cleaned), but I like it. So today you get a minor upgrade for my 20th century type set.

I'm working on a circulated set of FE and IHC too. 14 holes left to fill and they are all the key and semi key from 66-78 and of course both S mints. I'm OK with G-4 coins but it is tough to even find problem free G-4's of those dates. ebay has mostly trash culls and cleaned or damaged. The fun is in the quest so off to the LCS I go.

I recently submitted a Proof IHC for grading. I'm hoping when it comes back, It will be a massive upgrade, but with the time delay could be months :) you'll have to wait like I have to

I checked it out and I was thinking PF64/65, the coin shop was thinking PF65 with a chance of PF66. The price difference between PF64 and PF66 is pretty robust with a PF64 at 400 while PF66 at $1,600. I honestly would be happy with PF65.

As the current crop of 3 coins for the 7070 are priced higher than I want, I decided to revisit the IHC and FE. I found a nice IHC in Charlotte. I called up the coin shop and negotiate a fair cash price. Well you may ask, how do I negotiate a fair cash price when I don't live in Charlotte? Well my friend and fellow collector who lives nearby the Coin Shop will pick up the coin up for me and pay cash and I'll reimburse him. One of the perks of having collector friends in different parts of the country :) He is picking it up today, so pictures coming hopefully next week. We may revive this thread yet.

My IHC from Charlotte has arrived and it is nicer than I expected, pictures will probably come early next week as my oldest took the camera as they went to comic con.
