Having witnessed the bifurcation of the price of silver into the paper spot price and the physical price, I'm going to be curious to see what happens as the spot price climbs (which it seems to be doing). Will the physical price climb or will the two merge back into one? It will be interesting to see.

With gold coins at least, supply seems to be a bit looser as the big dealers now have inventory to sell at only(!) a $100/oz premium. It wasn't but a few days ago it was routinely +$150 to +$200/oz.

Jewelry stores here in Southern California are opening up. Premiums to spot gold are a little more reasonable versus ebay and the big online sellers. With spot at $1725, offer for 1 oz krugerrand was $1785.

My LCS is down to 14X face, down from 15X a few days ago. Still higher than 12/13X face pre covid. (constitutional silver)

I dunno. The other day I was successfully selling 90% halves at 12.50 each. Premiums are still up

I much prefer older silver real coins over modern 1 oz. bullion pieces. Foreign coins often sell for just a small premium over melt. I have a few rolls ($10 face) of circulated Walking Liberty halves that I would sell for $200 each.

Local Coin Swap is the first thing that came up. Oooo - a new coin place - I'm all ready to dive in. Turns out they deal in Bit Coins!! I know zip about "crypto" currency and ain't to fond of fiat paper money. Gives me them thar gold doubloons and pieces o' eight any day. LCS = local coin shop ?

I just paid $4 over spot ($17.29) for about 360 eagles. Seems a little pricey but the way they are printing that paper stuff I don't see prices dropping anytime soon

Are premiums starting to drop now? Saw some silver 1 ounce bars at an estate auction sell for $20 a piece yesterday.

As long as the demand is high, Premiums wont drop much if at all.
