I'm afraid I'm not a coin collector, so I was hoping for some advice on here.
I recently found a 1906 Philippine One Peso coin. It used to belong to my great uncle. He was in Asia after WWI and some of his coins have been hanging around the family for decades. I myself am based in Shropshire, England.
A quick Google showed that these might be rare? I believe there may also be counterfeits?
Is there anyone that can tell if this might be genuine? If so is it valuable? What should be done with it?
I've tried to take up close pictures of it. (Link below):
