Hey hey diggers! I was on the token trail again! On a new permission spot with great results...a rare blacksmith token from Nova Scotia a JB warehouse (Ch Bl-31) not in perfect condition but still a good example of this scarce token. It weighs in at 4.29 grams and stretches 28mm. I wet the obverse slightly to show better the JB script. Also, it's only a couple degrees off of medal alignment. It was my only coin find at this site and if you got to find just one ...this sure was the one to find! This is my second one if these...my other one is better by far but this one is just as special.
Now for my "first"...in another part of the field I was in I found a stray..nothing else around and all by herself alone out in the middle of nowhere..my first ever Newfoundland 20 cent piece! First year of issue too. A nice 1865! Surprised and excited was my day and happy to come home with some really nice coin finds! All pumped up from that and ready to tackle another day detecting the ultimate wild!
