Thanks @jBuck and @Coinfrog, I really liked the 15 cent fractional. The more I look at it, the higher the grade I think it is. The paper is crisp and no folds. For a 145 year old note, it's in beautiful condition.

Those are all very nice. I think my want list just grew.

That's a great 15 cent example. I have Fr1267 and Fr1271, but yours is a nicer example. Congrats on that acquisition.

No pictures it didn't happen @captaincoffee, I've seen the ones you have lets just say I like I picked up one more (5th series) from the shop and have the 3 cent one on hold. I'll post pictures later today. I think I'll skip the 2nd series of fractional unless someone has a nice one, the ones I've seen have something weird with the pressed circle.

On Friday I went to the newly found coin shop. I was going to pick up 2 fractionals but upon further review the 5th issue fractional I had put on the side had 3 pinholes and some adhesive stuck on the back. So I passed on it. But the coin shop had another ready so I picked up that one. Since I didn't have enough cash to get both I only picked up F-1264. I like this one as it has the green seal and reverse is more green. Still no matter the seal William Meredith just looks cranky.

Thank you my @coinfrog and @stever
I have another package out for delivery and then my list goes to small notes. I have a few that I want to get including Nationals, Gold Certificates and the Hawaii notes. Just need to find the ones I like at a fair price. I appreciate all the advice given. Especially from the poison dart of currency collectors. My ultimate goal is to have a type of $1, $, $5, $10 and $20.

I think you mean 1264 and 1265 in that second picture post. If I had an extra short key (1266), I'd send it to you, but unfortunately I just have one. Plus I'm jealous that all your new acquisitions are nicer than mine. My 1265 is actually a pretty gruesome G6-ish note, but was one of the first I got (from a great Aunt) about 35 years ago that helped spark my interest in fractionals and banknotes in general.

@captaincoffee, I've seen some of the notes you posted, I'm jealous of what you posted! I'm also being selective in what I get. I'm trying to avoid ebay, so once I get the last few that are available locally, I'm going to have to go to different notes And yes you are correct I meant to say 1264 and 1265, thank you for catching that. I tried to email you but you have email blocked.

I honestly don't recall ever selecting a preference for that. It took me a while, but I figured out how to change it. Feel free to email as long as you aren't a salesman trying to sell something.
