Another one I'm bidding on. Monster dark toning. Auction photos. But for the slight rim ding I think the slabber might have undergraded this one.

Clearly MS, but that toning makes it impossible to grade from an image.

Even with the dark toning this one looks super clean. I'd grade this one MS-66 from these photos. Maybe a couple more shots at a angle to see what is on that obverse surface.

I'd pay a premium for this toning. Not sure how much, but more than I'd pay for a blast white in the same grade. Just my opinion.

OK, I'm stumped ........ what are those lines in the fields on the reverse from? To me they look like rubbings of some sort, but hey what do I know. Anyone want to enlighten me?

I personally love this toning. A very attractive coin, a stunner!

Looks like a technical MS-65+ or MS-66, depending on who graded it could be anything, MS-64 on the low-end if they were because of the common date, or MS-68+* on the high-end if they were generous.

Not my type of coin personally, liberty looks like she spent an afternoon with her friends riding quads through the mud, in regards to the cheek.

If you like the coin, go for it though, I hope you get it!

Actually I also want to ad that, I really like when one side is blast white and the other is toned, wonder if this one was in an old Whitman album once, y'know like the real old ones where it only shows one side of the coin.

Love the dramatic toning, but it makes it hard to assess the surfaces. Could easily be an MS-65. I suspect this will go for a significant premium above the value of the grade.

That was the first thing I thought when I saw the pics.

I love the coin, also love the toning! Should be able to hit MS-65, maybe 66. Very nice coin, good luck on getting it!

Looks to be a 66 from these photos. However, I'd like to see the coin at an angle. I'd venture to say the fields have chatter hidden by the toning and photos.
