2019 Doubled Die Reverse / DDR Quarter. Trying To Figure Out If I Should Send It For Grading?

coop Bedrock of the Community United States 62064 Posts	Posted 05/12/2020 6:45 pm It is a normal coin with Machine Doubling on it. It is not a DDR. The devices are incuse and the the rules are different for incuse VS raised devices. They are just opposite of each other. So far there are no DDR on these devices that are incuse on the outer rings of the ATB Quarters. In my opinion it's Machine Doubling and not an actual double die, but again not a professional. The entire reverse would be useful to see if it's present anywhere else since the date is part of the whole design and not added later to the die. Report this Post to the Staff

In my opinion. not worth sending it in to be graded, as the cost to grade would out weigh any value it would have just because it's in a plastic slab. I'd keep it as an interesting example of Machine Doubling, but having it graded? My answer would be no. to the CCF! Report this Post to the Staff
