This is one of those buying mistakes you make when all you have is a fuzzy photo at ebay to look at. I really didn't see those gouges above the eagles head when I bid on this a few years ago.

So what do you think?

I'll say AU-53, fair chance it would straight-grade.

I think between the gouges on the reverse, and the scratch at 4 o'clock on the obverse, it might get a details, then again, it might not... If it was 60 or higher I'd give it a shot.
