Hi gang...hope all is well.

I got into a BU roll of 1957 D's - Reds that I have had for a while and decided to look through.

The #7 on 1957 is thicker than the regular struck 1957 (A).

A. Normal Strike
B. D/D with a DD "7" spread larger that a normal strike
C. D/D flattened with a DD (flattened)"7"
D. DD (flattened) "7" & Doubling on D,W,E,T,R on IN GOD WE TRUST
E. DD (flattened) "7" with a filled "B" in Liberty

I have looked for the varieties but can't find them. Can anyone help with them and do they hold a premium.

Broken die post in liberty. No doubled dies, but a few RPM's. Try and match the RPMs' on VV or Wexler.

B - Looks like RPM-005 Stage B. If that's correct, your coin should also have a minor doubled die on the BERTY in LIBERTY (DDO-002). The 7 has contact marks and damage.

C - Looks like RPM-003. 7 looks normal.

D - Machine Doubling on IGWT. 7 looks normal.
E - 7 looks normal, maybe a light Grease Fill. Broken post die chip in the B.

The two RPMs will likely have a small premium especially in this condition.

Please, ONE coin per thread. It's very difficult for us the juggle coins and comment on each one. This *really* helps us!
