Hi, I'm just wondering if anyone could tell me if this could be considered an error or not cause I haven't seen anything like this before. It's on the left side of the cent between the columns of the Lincoln Memorial.

The line? Need a closer image to determine but it can be one of two things.

One, it's just a cut, and two, it's a die crack. Based on this photo it looks like just a cut, nothing but damage.

Can you please show us a close-up of that area in question? It's hard to see it as is. Thanks.

You didn't zoom in dude. You just cropped the image. Retake a closer photo.

2007 had some large die chips in that area, so quite common.

Bigger close-up photo, please. We cannot see the problem area well enough to make any sort of determination.

Looks like a die chip that has worn down, and the copper plating is now gone, exposing the zinc core to the air causing zinc rot to set in.
