Thank you so very, very much for all of your input on the other quarter I posted. It turns out that I posted pictures of the wrong coin! I will post photos of the correct quarter just as soon as I have them.

Anyway, is this an error on the "RT" in "LIBERTY"? I don't know how well these pictures show it, but the "T" looks like there is a wire or something twisted around it. Thanks, in advance, for your help!

Looks like someone with a hat? It maybe a contact mark. Note the incuse mark on the 'R'.
