This P-28 East Caribbean $20 was issued from Anguilla in 1993. The 1993 ND issue has the marker (denomination #) super-imposed over the design & only lasted for 1 short year. In 1994 the design was revised so users could easily see the marker (clear background). Anyone with poor eyesight could determine what denomination they had. A great collector opportunity (though some countries/denominations can be tough to find in higher grades).

At first glance this note appears identical to the one I posted yesterday. However, there are notable differences:
1. It has the signature of Kentfield instead of Lowther.
2. It has the serial prefix A01, making it one of the first 999,999 Dickens £10 notes issued. It's one of the few A01 notes I've ever found in circulation.
3. It's dated 1992 instead of 1993.
4. The obverse has a small crown in the top right-hand corner. The first issues of the new-style £5, £10 and £20 notes introduced in 1990-2 all bore this crown. However, the different notes proved difficult to tell apart in poor light, so after about a year the crown on the £10 and £20 was replaced by a repeat of the denomination.

1992 Belarus 25-, 50-, and 100 Rubels (P-6, 7, 8). All have the same reverse as the 50 kopeks note, except for the color and denomination. Hopefully one day I'll get the rest of the animal notes to complete this set.
