Thanks for clearing that up for me squaremealroundplate. I had always thought that the mintage for each denomination was the combined total over two consecutive Annual Reports but I see now that it can be over three. You would think though that by June 2020, for example, they would know how many coins were minted for 2019!

40th $100 - this marks $4000 of noodling but unfortunately no new Letters found since $2300! ... nothing much of interest found this time either. 2019 JC effigy Still sitting on 6!

The JC dollar coin is pretty common - just found 40+ in one lot. Some are already pretty dinged up - released them back in the wild.
Just to illustrate one batch I went through:
- Three colored 2 dollars coins and 2012, 2018 commemorative 2 dollars (non colored) - 2x 2014 MOR dollar coin, - 2016 50th anniversary dollar coin, - 2x Royal visits 50 cents, - COF 50 cents (Norfolk Island), - 2x of both 2014 and 2017 AIATSIS, Mabo 50 cents (anyone seen the 2019 Year of Indigenous Languages in the wild yet?) - COF 20 cents (VIC), - AND NONE alphabet coins!
Wow! Probability wise, this is just plain absurd.
Just checked what alphabets I have - 16 at the moment: A, B, C, E, F, H, L, M, O, Q, R, T, V, W, X, Z
Missing: D, G, I, J, K, N, P, S, U, Y

i suspect that changeover are being found cause they are 1 dollar coins and therefore get hidden in circulation due to there design. MOB reverse and 1 in maybe 1000 coins so yeah after 4 year still going to be found from time to time . Unlike 2 dollars with colours which almost straight away get pickup when place into circulation (even worse now that RAM decide to release reject rolled with RAM paper ), I would say 90% of their RAM emergency coin order by the banks just got taken out of circulation (not sure the exact numbers please don't quote me on this but I think its around the 1-2million dollars in change) bahahaha why do you do this RAM Sorry about ranting but I mean good grief

Just noodled another $500 of dollars. My first comment is that I wish the Mint would recall ALL 1984 and 1985 dollars!
My haul: 1 x 1984 looks like it came from the mint yesterday 2 x 1985 - As above 2 x 2008 - as above 4 x 2000 MOR 1 x 2001 Rotated - My first! and it is a 180 degree rotation 1 x 2016 Changeover 1 x 2018 Gold Coast - my first - is that NCLT or general circulation? 2 x 2019 MOR with no privy 5 x 2019 Alphabet. 2 x C, and one X, L, N

I came into this topic after the weekend and saw so many new replies. I had hoped we were celebrating a new letter. No worry. Keep at it!

I have pretty much given up on finding a change over dollar, To make matters worse my collection is in those vst albums that have the specific pockets labeled for specific coins so I have empty holes for coins I'm never going to find mocking me every time I look at my albums, and just as an extra twist of the knife they have two pockets aside for each change over coin (one to be displayed reverse and the other obverse) so the change over dollar is a double whammy lol.
