Does the rim Cud and the crack belong to the same coin? It's always helpful to include a full shot of both sides.

It doesn't look like a lamination error to me ... more like a flan crack but I'm not sure if these are found on modern day coins?

Hard to say but the 5c could just be damage to the rim - I thought only $1 and $2 coins got rim Cuds for some reason?

I have Rim Cuds on all denoms except 1c.

Although only 1 x 2c with most of the date covered, but either 1974 or 1984
life is a mystery to be lived not a problem to be solved

Ah interesting - I don't think I've ever seen it on the cupronickel stuff. I thought some of the denominations were struck from pre-rimmed blanks and others not.
