Just pulled it out of a mint set and wrestled it into this capsule. The reverse still has the capsule over it because I'd rather not try to pop it out until (maybe) sending it in for grading, but what are your thoughts?

Contact marks above Monticello hold this to MS-66 I'm guessing.

Reminder, a coin needs a retail value after slabbing of $150 to justify all costs involved.

Thanks for the comments! The marks above the Monticello are light scratches maybe? and certainly aren't noticed in-hand because the luster is all there. Sorry it has the plastic over it. I literally had to wedge it in there with my fingernail behind cotton gloves.. and don't feel like doing that again! Not trying to shoot myself in the foot by hiding any damage to you all, that's for sure..

The most prominent ding seems to be Jeff's bottom jawline, but even that has to be seen at an angle and is hidden well by the luster.
As long as it receives a 66+ it'd be worth the submission, and it seems to have the same level of contact marks as other 67s, and with incredible luster... Wish I could post a mini video on here.

Over the prior 3 years I've sent in 30+ Nickels to PCGS. I'd give yours an MS65. Even though it's not full steps, you have some steps which is evidence of a good strong strike.

No big hits, but many small dings, maybe MS64, probably MS65.

Luster is at MS66, but because of the dings, MS65 would be my guess.
