This is my first time posting, lets hope there is more trial than error! I pulled this from one of my nickel books. What would you do if it was yours? The coin has never been graded. Would you consider submitting it? If so, to which grading company.

I'll say a solid 65 or better. Reverse pic is too soft to see step detail clearly.

Coinfrog, with coin in hand and at an angle with 10x the step count looks 6-6-6-6. Looking straight on with 10x the coin looks 5-6-5-6. So though one jumps hoping for one thing the coin would be considered a 5 full step coin by PCGS. I tried to do better showing steps but with only the one image it is hard. A friend let me borrow his camera some time back to take pictures of my coins. Being new to the camera the images showed a blue hue, I didn't like that since the coin is not toned.

I would like to see the steps more clearly now that I've seen the rest of the fields of this coin, which look very nice overall

I'm going with MS64. Appears to be light scuffing on jaw and hair high points, and a couple minor dings on the coat. Nice coin. Need closer-in, clear photos of the steps--they look promising, however...

MS64, but sharp photos might reveal a higher grade. Is the color accurately represented? Nickels that are this white usually have been dipped for cleaning.

I managed to find the original photos before trying to remove the blue hue. Lets see what these show.

With the scuff marks, I'm at MS-64 and probably FS, but the steps are out of focus.
