This is one of the bills I picked up over the weekend.
Definitely happy to have this one in my collection. Seems to maybe be a rather rare note but don't exactly know a lot about it. I will slowly but surely be posting them all as time allows.
If any of you paper money experts know a little about it that would be awesome because I think I'm going to be buying more paper money in the future and I should probably start educating myself a little better.
I just figured I would start on the forum because I know there is a lot of knowledge to be shared.

Low-grade note with an interesting bank name, but this charter number is not uncommon.

It's a wonderful town name, especially to collectors of American stoneware pottery.

Thanks coinfrog I plan on getting into paper money a little more when I finish my registry set which is moving along good now that the 32s and 32d are out of the way lol.
You happen to know of any good reference stuff I can look up a read? My favorite note I picked up this week is the 5 dollar chief.

Cool note.
Interestingly, this small-size National with a mismatched serial number from the same charter sold for $69K in 2002. When the new owner decided to let it go, it only realized $16K three years later in 2005. Ouch !

Do you have the Kelly book? If not, look for - National Bank Notes - Sixth edition - Don C Kelly.
The pricing may be off a little but the info is fantastic!
