That being said if she does not see the the accumulated value of your collection as apposed to the face value, then she is not that smart.

As a couple of others have mentioned, ultimatums are never a good thing. It doesn't matter what the topic is or who is giving it to who. A relationship is doomed when that crap starts. Time to put her to the curb.
If you capitulate, she will realize she can dominate and control you with threats and it will only get worse. Life is way too short for that BS...
I'm not picking on the ladies, I've seen this unacceptable nonsense go both ways.

I've been married so long I don't remember what it's like to have a girlfriend. The fact that a girl (or a boy) has a nice figure doesn't mean they're the one you want to spend your life with. Coins stay, "friend" goes.

You can have both... Moderation is the answer. If it had to be one or the other, you could put your coins away for a while and see if the relationship works out.
I think you already made your decision. You just want us to back up that little voice in the back of your mind which is telling you to do otherwise.

 Put your coins and your girlfriend in the trunk of your car for 6 hours when you open the trunk see what their reactions are  I tried it with my spouse and my dog for two hours funny  the puppy was the only one happy to see me |

I'd have to see a photo of the girlfriend to be able to cast a meaningful vote, lol. Measurements are only part of the picture. If she were really hott ... well ...*
On the other hand, if she's giving you ultimatims BEFORE you tie the knot, I believe you know what's next.
*Said comments do not apply to current wives. Definitely do not apply if current spouse has had training in any firearm, can break a 2x4 with her bare hand, or can cook gourmet food without consulting recipes.

Yeah, It would be interesting to know the percentage of "better halves" that read this forum also. I'd guess somewhere around 50%. |
