How would you label this coin, I know its a struck through but what would you call the folded metal. If you look at pic 2 you can see a light impression of a T and pic 3 you can see the Y.

Not struck through...a struck through would have the metal pressed downward where it struck through something - that's why it's called what it is.

This is a lamination peel. Metal that didn't stick well in the planchet comes loose during the strike and is eventually peeled over. These are rather common...as are struck through coins.
