For the coin/medal set, why is there a 5,000 difference between the product limit and mintage limit? I don't see any other products they are putting the proof coin in.

Probably. I can't even find the set on their website.

Given the recent experience of the last two releases, I except the Mayflower release from the US Mint will not go well either. 4 products on the same day, 1 per household and low mintage.

Regarding The Royal Mint, don't demand on their pre-register your interest since typically by the time they inform you, it is sold out. I was asking someone with connections about Royal Mint version yesterday and they have no news about this release.

Speaking of The Royal Mint, I nabbed one of the 100 slabbed gold Mayflower coins before selling out some weeks ago, though they are woefully behind on shipping, ETA still 4 weeks out.

I wonder if the U.S. Mint and Royal Mint have different stocks--or whether they will both be selling from (and both have to keep track of) the same stock simultaneously (since the release is at 9:00AM). If the second case, this one should be quite interesting...

I'm sure they've each been allotted a certain amount to sell.

I agree. That was how the Pride of Two Nations sets were done. Super excited for this one, super worried about how the website will handle it.

Does anyone know if The Royal Mint is releasing a set similar to the canadian mint for the pride of two nations set? I don't see one on their site, but I see some silver coins that look to have gold around the rims. I see the US mintage and product limit is different, is this due to the number for sale in a Royal Mint set?
