twood89 Valued Member United States 278 Posts	Posted 09/13/2020 12:19 pm I am pretty sure this is an Abbasid Dirham, but beyond that I have no clue. I have zero skills with Arabic. So if there is anyone experienced with reading these coins I would greatly appreciate their help identifying the ruler/year on this coin. Report this Post to the Staff

Kushanshah Pillar of the Community United States 1554 Posts	Posted 09/13/2020 7:41 pm According to Album, the dirham of Wasit dated 126 with 7 annulets in the margin is attributed to Ibrahim. Dirhams of Wasit 126 with 4 annulets are assigned to Yazid III. Dirhams of Wasit 126 with 5 annulets and all 126 issues of other mints are attributed to al-Walid II. There may be something with the annulets at Wasit but generally speaking, it's arbitrary.
