It does look like it may be that variety based on the thickness of the mint mark. Here's some info from PCGS CoinFacts:

The 1854-O Huge O Quarter Dollar is a very unusual variety, because the mintmark is large, misshapen, and unlike the O mintmark on any other coin from this year or from any other. For this reason, experts believe the mintmark was either re-worked or added by hand to a die that the Philadelphia Mint shipped to New Orleans minus a mintmark (the Philadelphia Mint supplied all the dies to the branch mints, and added the mintmarks before shipping out the dies). Walter Breen claimed to have discovered the 1854-O Huge O Quarter Dollar in 1954, exactly one hundred years after its issuance.
According to the PCGS Population Report, the certified population of the 1854-O Huge O is roughly half that of the regular 1854-O Quarter Dollar, making it scarce but not rare.

Certainly has the look.
I'd like to see full coin images of both sides.

Looks like it might grade FR-02 but we need the pics to give a better opinion.

To tell you truth, the coin is terrible. The date is barely there, need some patience, a good eye and a loupe just for that. But considering even in poor condition, the coin might be worth a bit of money, is it worth going to get stabbed?

Shouldn't this be moved to the Classic section?

The OP coin is not a 54 O Huge O.

OP coin
1854-O-Seated-Liberty-Quarter-

1854 Huge O, compare the top left quadrant of the mintmark.
