I received my second box of goodies today - the CC and O. Both were nicely wrapped in paper and the contents safe in their capsules (unlike yesterday's shipment - ). I checked the return address and both shipments came from Memphis, so I don't think the poorly packaged one is a result of from where they were shipped.

The O has something on it, though. It is like a white hazy streak across the lettering. Is this a milk spot? It looks like it was wet with something and not cleaned off well. Has anyone else seen this? Is there a way to remove it? I hate to send it back since I won't be able to get a replacement.

Received a second box today. It was supposed to have 3x P morgans and 3x Peace dollars. Contained only 3 Morgans and no Peace. Invoice shows only morgans. I checked my order on the US Mint Website and it clearly shows the Peace dollars on that order ID. Very epic.

If the invoice only shows Morgans, probably the Peace are coming separately.

Anyone know what coin shops are giving in trade for these? Once I get my Peace dollars I'm hoping to trade them locally

My local shop is giving $125 for peace and Philly and $100 for D and S. I sold a set of 4 extras to a friend at what I paid for them.

IMO scuffs, scratches, dings are unwanted damage. Die cracks, struck through, etc. are collectable mint errors. I assume local coin shops will pay less for damaged ones.

My first two orders were delivered yesterday (CC & O) and today (D & S). Both delivered, and tracking info, by the USPS.

My last coins (P & Peace) were given UPS tracking numbers; NOT USPS, and are expected next week. The only difference is the last bunch has more than two coins. My postman today told me that UPS will probably drop my coins off to the Post Office first, and then he'll deliver them to me.

Is this normal? Also, since the current tracking number is not an eligible
number for the USPS, will I lose contact with the package?

PS: All four coins so far are beauties!

That sounds UPS SurePost. You're paying UPS to deliver via the postal service. It's such a scam, but that's what they do.

It is when it's UPS sure post or FedEx smart post. Both usually update the USPS tracking number once it's transferred to them. Should be able to find it in the tracking or shipment details.

Of the 12 coins I got only 2 had tiny marks when I went looking for them. The others I couldn't find anything wrong. I'm still waiting for the last 2 Peace, but so far the odds of getting a great coin has been pretty good.
