Quote: Please tell me where you see the chatter so I can concentrate my efforts on that area also. @dearborn, All the Morgan's on the Obverse between E .P and the forehead have a lighter section that when I magnify looks blurry. Also the 2021-D looks very soft, it looks like wear on her cap. The reverse for all 3 looks perfect, its the Obverse that they don't look perfect. Please note that whatever RBG color scheme that CCF uses seems to also lessen the vibrance, on my iPhone the color is vibrant on what I post, when I use my laptop/monitor the color is dull. So maybe CCF is optimized for an iPhone screen not so much for my laptop.

Quote: Nice 2021 Peace but I don't like the label. I actually like the label. Think the yellow gives it a nice pop. As for the high relief, what makes a coin high relief? I always thought it was just a gimmick like ultra cameo vs regular cameo.

Quote: As for the high relief, what makes a coin high relief? I'm in agreement with you (that's its a gimmick), BUT when the US Mint (the producer of the coin) says its NOT high relief, I tend to say that it's NOT high relief no matter what a TPG says.

Nice pics. TPG allow for minor imperfections and still give a coin MS70 if it's not post mint damage. Here's the MS70 description from the PCGS site. A little hard to read but it says, "Fully struck and lustrous free of visual marks. The PCGS 70 grading standard does allow for "as minted" defects as long as those flaws are minor and do not impact the eye appeal of the coin."

As I understand it a high relief coin is when the design is higher than the rim edge, as with the 1921 Peace and American Liberty Gold coins. 2021 Peace dollars aren't so the High Relief label is a sales gimmick.

You beat me to it. I just posted this same thing. I figure they are returns due to quality control but I'll give it a shot. I didn't get these in the beginning. I wonder how that 10 per household limit worked out for them.
