Am I the only one that prefers frosty burnished/uncirculated over glossy proofs? Especially for gold.

If they decide to do a privy mark again, hopefully they'll increase the field size a bit. The V75 privy was much smaller than most of us expected.

Perhaps for the first time I will purchase a Morgan silver dollar and Peace Silver Dollar. Hopefully the alloy is the same as the original coins, which by the weight specified in the bill would perhaps be the case. No other commemorative coin for me, but these I do like.

I'm disappointed that this bill passed, but since it's coming, I will consider purchasing one of the Peace dollars or maybe a combined two-coin set if they make one. Of course it will all depend on the price. Time will tell.

Has Trump signed this bill? I haven't seen anything.

The bill was sent to the President on 12/24. No word yet on whether he has signed it.

Sounds to me like it could die with the 116th United States Congress. I have no doubt it will resurface in the next one.

The Act states that the Secretary of the Treasury must sell the coins at face value ($1?) plus the cost of minting, sales, and distribution.

The cynic in me wants to see a banner headline: U.S. GOVERNMENT BEGINS COUNTERFEITING COLLECTOR COINS / Makes Conspicuous Error on Date Detail / Respectable counterfeiters outraged. / Government to Confiscate All Profits Kevin
