True the fire fighter c mint was 40,000 but it was still a big difference time wise and the mintage on the indigenous service c mint was 50,000

@Polarboy the Ambulance C mint mark coins did see out on the Mint site on the first reason. But for some reason became available the day after again. It did seem to last a while though.
Does anyone have a list of what special coins have actually been released to circulation this year? e.g is the Indigenous Service coin actually a circulated coin?
Also the 5th anniversary of the End of World War II 2 dollar seem really expensive to buy online, I wonder what the mintage is of the coin.

The 2021 $2 Indigenous Service coin is in circulation. Plenty of bags or security (prosegur) rolls for sale on ebay. |

Did they actually make it into circulation or were they hoarded by security guards and bank tellers like usual.

I doubt the vast majority of security or bank staff could care less. No heaps are on face book people are finding rolls in atms. As much as we like to blame scalpers and what have you hoarding of coins is pretty much always down to fellow "collectors".

Have any of you avid coloured $2 collectors/hoarders noticed that the RAM have updated their website and reckon they only minted 600,000 of the 2020 WW2 coins. Strange that this is one of the coloured coins I have actually found quite a few of  https://www.ramint.gov.au/two-dollars |

The only way I collect $2 coloured coins is from pocket change.
Cheapest possible fun is my only motivation.
I have about 50 different types.
Even so, I regard each of them as a lost investment opportunity to the value of $2, against other sorts investments
To buy them in specially made collector sets is to loose even greater amounts of money, so I don't do that.

I just can't get keen on them especially the Woolworths releases,in 20 years time they will still be worth $2 after the ebay sugar rushes fade away. |
